Software Engineer II

CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer II opening for our client.

Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 8 months

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, debug, enhance, and support enterprise applications.
• Develop full-stack solutions using .NET, C#, REST APIs, Angular, and MS SQL.
• Perform systems analysis, application development, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Develop technical specifications, test plans, documentation, and application designs.
• Work with Development, Operations, Technology, and business teams on complex projects.
• Support application integrations, interfaces, and system enhancements.
• Coordinate development tasks and drive project milestones and deliverables.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Independently handle complex application development and systems analysis.
• Support multiple projects and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and project teams.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

• May provide technical direction and coordinate work for less experienced developers.

Education and Experience Required:

• Associate’s degree plus 5+ years of application development/systems analysis experience, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of .NET/C# development experience.
• Experience with Angular, REST APIs, and MS SQL.
• Strong full-stack development, SQL, API integration, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working on complex projects and meeting deadlines.

Education and Experience Preferred:

• Banking or financial services experience.
• Enterprise application development and system integration experience.
• Experience with production application support and technical leadership.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
