Software Engineer II

CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer II position for our client.

Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 6 months

Duties:

• Design, develop, test, debug, and support Java applications.
• Develop AI agentic solutions using AI prompt engineering.
• Analyze requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.
• Support cloud deployments, application integrations, and troubleshooting.
• Create technical specifications, test plans, and documentation.
• Collaborate with technology teams, business units, and vendors.
• Provide technical guidance and coordinate development activities as needed.

Experience:

• 5+ years of systems analysis/application development experience.
• Strong Java development experience.
• Experience with AI prompt engineering and cloud deployments.
• Experience delivering technical solutions and managing project milestones.

Education:

• Associate degree plus 5 years of relevant experience; or 7 years of combined education/work experience, including 5 years of relevant experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
