The team manager will assist the coaching staff with day-to-day operations, including bull pen catching during practices. They will also perform various administrative duties in support of the softball program.
Job Description
The student, under general supervision of designated supervisor and
using independent judgement, performs a variety of duties in support of
a program, academic, student services, and/or merchandise operation.
May require conducting financial transactions. Requires strong
communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office or other
specialized software applications, ability to maintain confidentiality,
and work independently.
Duties:
The Grinnell College Softball team is looking for someone who is
enthusiastic and hard-working to be a team manager for the 2026/2027 season
and beyond. If you love sports and want to be a part of a college
sports team, this is a great opportunity. You would be tasked with
helping the coaching staff and team with their day-to-day operations including bull pen catching.
All students are welcome to apply, but first and second-year students
are strongly encouraged to apply. Previous playing experience is not
required, but basic skills such as catching and throwing a softball are
required.
