NKHS is seeking a dynamic Behavior Interventionist to join our School Based Services Team at Barnet School and make a lasting impact in the lives of students across our communities.

NKHS has over 500 employees providing case management, community and home supports, residential care, psychiatry, medication management, therapy, vocational supports, school based counseling, emergency care, and respite services. Primary Responsibilities 

Provide direct support to students focused on social skills development, self-regulation, and daily functioning
Implement individualized treatment and positive behavior support plans
Follow crisis prevention and de-escalation protocols
Collect and maintain accurate, timely behavioral data and documentation
Collaborate with school teams, supervisors, and treatment providers
Attend team meetings, supervision, and required trainings
Support students in both school and community settings

Key Skills and Abilities

Flexibility, patience and willingness to learn.
Able to work independently and as a member of a team providing support to students unable to access their education due to emotional/behavior challenges.

Qualifications

BA/BS in human services, education, psychology or related field preferred. If degree requirements are not complete, must be working toward completion within one year of being hired.
Experience in ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) preferred
Must have access to personal vehicle to transport students as needed.

$22.25 - $27.19 per hour, depending upon education and experience
