Social Service Coordinator

Job Details: Job Location: Lubbock Family Medicine - Lubbock, TX, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: Undisclosed, The Social Services Coordinator will serve as support to the Social Services Department. The position offers the right candidate the opportunity to interface with and support Social Services Team members and patients and become an integral part of the success of a fast-growing health care company. The ideal candidate should have experience managing multiple priorities at once, be able to communicate professionally with patients and team members, and be willing to accept any task, big or small. Responsibilities

Administer Cognitive Evaluation for Spanish speaking patients
Back up for Cognitive Evaluations administration
Process prior authorizations for cognitive testing
Logging Social Work assessments
Scanning Social Work assessments into eClinical Works
General office duties (i.e. filing, copying, letters, faxing, preparing reports, mailing, scheduling maintenance etc.)
Various other assignments and duties as assigned

Qualifications: Skills & Qualifications

Minimum education High School or equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Required
Must exhibit high degree of discretion as relates to safeguarding confidential information
Must be willing to maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times
Clear communication skills, written and verbal
Must be bilingual English and Spanish speaking
