Social Media & Content Creation Intern

Job Description

David Weekley Homes is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern for our Jacksonville division. This internship offers hands-on experience creating photo and video content for Facebook and Instagram while showcasing our homes, communities, events, and team culture.

Responsibilities

• Capture and edit photos, videos, and social platform reels.
• Travel to Jacksonville-area communities and events to gather content.
• Assist with content planning and organization.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Construction, and other teams.
• Research social media trends and recommend creative ideas.
• Support additional marketing projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a college degree program pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. Juniors and seniors are preferred.
• Experience creating social media content through coursework, employment, student organizations, or personal projects.
• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, Canva, Adobe, or similar tools.
• Creative, dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently.
• Portfolio or examples of photo, video, or social media work are preferred.
• Interest in homebuilding, real estate, design, or lifestyle content is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the Jacksonville area is required.

Additional Information

• This internship includes a combination of office and field work.
