Job Title: Snow Removal Crew Member
Department: Facilities/Operations
Reports To: Facilities Manager

Position Overview:
The Snow Removal Crew Member ensures Brighton Resort’s property, walkways, entrances, and parking areas are safe and accessible for guests and employees during the winter season. This role focuses on snow and ice removal, requiring the ability to work outdoors in cold and challenging weather conditions. Compensation is $18.00 an hour.

Work Environment:
This position is entirely outdoors and requires working in winter weather conditions, often in early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on snowfall.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Clear snow and ice from walkways, stairways, entrances, and decks
• Operate snow removal equipment such as shovels, snow blowers, and salt spreaders
• Apply ice-melt to high-traffic areas to reduce slip hazards
• Maintain snow removal equipment and ensure proper storage after use
• Monitor weather conditions and respond quickly to snow and ice accumulation
• Assist with hauling snow and maintaining safe pathways around buildings and high-use areas
• Report any hazards, unsafe conditions, or maintenance needs to the Facilities Manager
• Operate alone or in small groups to accomplish tasks and duties
• Follow all safety protocols and resort policies while performing duties
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Previous snow removal or outdoor maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable working outdoors in cold, snowy, and icy conditions for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week.
