Budget Rent a Car of Utah is seeking a reliable Vehicle Transporter to assist with the day-to-day movement of rental vehicles throughout the Salt Lake City , Ogden, Southern Utah areas. The person in this role will be responsible for transporting vehicles between rental locations and possible other designated destinations.

This position is well suited for someone who enjoys being on the road, likes hands-on work, and can stay organized while completing transportation assignments independently. The Vehicle Transporter plays an important role in making sure vehicles are available at the right locations when they are needed.

Primary Duties

• Transport vehicles between assigned rental locations, airports, service providers, and company facilities.
• Complete scheduled vehicle pickups and deliveries based on daily operational needs.
• Perform a visual walk-around of vehicles before and after transportation and report any noticeable issues.
• Verify fuel level and general vehicle condition when required.
• Maintain accurate communication regarding completed assignments and vehicle movements.
• Coordinate with managers and operations personnel regarding transportation requests and changes.
• Report accidents, tickets, vehicle damage, mechanical problems, or other incidents to management promptly.
• Follow established company procedures along with all applicable traffic and safety laws.
• Assist with additional fleet transportation tasks when requested.

Schedule

• Part-time position averaging approximately 28 hours per week.
• Scheduled shifts are 8 hours in length.
• Morning availability is required.
• Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Utah driver's license required.
• Must have a satisfactory driving record, with no more than 2 accidents or moving violations during the previous 3 years.
• Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles, including cars, SUVs, vans, and trucks.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
• Comfortable working independently and following daily assignments with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be comfortable frequently entering and exiting vehicles, walking between locations, and staying physically active during the workday.
