NORTH SHIPPING/RECEIVING CLERK

As a shipping and receiving clerk you will be working with our egg-straordinary warehouse team and provide continuous support to our drivers, be quick to respond to questions, and troubleshoot concerns to ensure optimal customer satisfaction. A shipping and receiving clerk will be responsible for planning, and routing loads with routing software and communicate regularly with the corporate accounting offices. A Transportation Planner needs to be energetic, self-motivated and an egg-straordinary representation of Hickman’s Family Farms.  

Responsibilities and Duties

Point of contact between Warehouse & Front Gate personnel
Prepares shipping and receiving documents for Warehouse Crew
Maintains shipping and receiving records in an orderly and accessible manner
Verify inventory by comparing physical counts and investigating discrepancies and adjustment errors
Keeps records of all inbound and outbound products
Processes and verifies documentation for export loads
Verifies all loads are processed properly before forwarding to the accounting department
Manages shipping procedures provided by company Transportation Department

Qualifications

Proficient in Excel, Word & Outlook
Experience with Accounting/Inventory Software  
Ability to sit for long hours
Ability to perform successfully under time pressures
Self-motivated
