Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Details: Job Location: IDAHO FALLS - IDAHO FALLS, ID, Salary Range: $20.00 - $24.00Hourly, Shipping and Receiving Clerk

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, your role is to work in the shipping/warehouse area preparing order shipments and ensuring that incoming product is identified, accounted for and stored according to current process.  You will also work with the delivery team and in some cases, be willing to deliver customer orders as well, to ensure that orders are delivered in a safe and timely manner.  You will also be crossed trained in the mail order area due to its proximity to the shipping area and the volume of orders that are coming through the mail room that need to be shipped out to customers.

Qualifications: Responsibilities

Locate stock and deliver items to appropriate department
Ensure incoming deliveries are accurate
Load vehicles with listed orders and materials, ensuring correct loading and taking precautions with fragile materials.
Take inventory and identify reorders as needed.
Identify supply and delivery locations and process freight as necessary.
Will receive and process supply orders as needed.
Perform general office or clerical work, such as storing and inventorying materials or running errands.
Operate a forklift – loading and unloading trucks, putting product away.
Conducting quality control before orders/shipments leave the facility.
Being able to package orders in such a way that it will eliminate damage during shipping.  Packaging excellence is part of the customer experience.
Oversee mailing department as well.  This department is a sister area to the shipping area because printed products that are flowing through the mailing department need to have shipping arrangements made - working with the postal service.

Requirements

Be organized and able to follow process
Train in all duties of the shipping, receiving and delivery areas and cross train in other departments that are aligned.
Have good attendance and be reliable to do work with a high attention to detail.
Be able to lift up to 50lbs with or without assistance.
Work in a variety of areas or tasks based on the need of the business/workflow.

Position Details

Full Time with benefits
Monday through Friday 8am-530pm (be willing to come in early or stay late as needed due to volume of work or customer order needs).
Payrate is $20-24 depending on experience in a shipping and receiving role.
