This position is with an independently owned and operated McDonald’s franchise restaurant. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA and is solely responsible for employment matters at this restaurant, including hiring, discipline, supervision, staffing, scheduling, and termination.

McDonald’s USA does not control employment decisions at this restaurant and will not receive your employment application or participate in the hiring process.

What You’ll Do

Shift Managers provide leadership during assigned shifts to help ensure customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service while maintaining strong standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

Responsibilities may include:

Leading Crew Members during assigned shifts

Planning and organizing each shift

Assigning positions and responsibilities to Crew Members

Monitoring performance throughout the shift

Coaching employees and providing direction when needed

Ensuring quality food production and accurate service

Delivering an exceptional customer experience

Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards

Supporting safety and security procedures

Monitoring shift performance and restaurant results

Assisting with inventory and restaurant systems

Supporting training and employee development

Communicating important information to other Managers

Preparing the restaurant and team for a successful shift transition

Shift Managers may also be assigned responsibilities within specific restaurant systems or departments.

Previous leadership experience is preferred, particularly in a restaurant, retail, hospitality, or other fast-paced customer service environment.
