Shift Leader

We are seeking an energetic and dependable Shift Leader to help lead restaurant operations while delivering great barbecue and exceptional guest service.

Our Shift Leaders work alongside the team, support restaurant management, and take ownership of their shifts. This position also plays an important role in building sales through local community outreach, catering development, and grassroots marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead assigned shifts and support smooth day-to-day restaurant operations. 
• Provide excellent guest service and quickly resolve guest concerns. 
• Train and coach team members on food preparation, service, cleanliness, and operational standards. 
• Ensure food quality, safety, cleanliness, and brand standards are maintained throughout the shift. 
• Assist with cash handling, inventory, opening/closing procedures, and shift documentation. 
• Monitor labor and restaurant activity throughout the shift. 
• Support restaurant management in achieving sales and operational goals. 
• Participate in daily community marketing and sales-building activities. 
• Visit and connect with local businesses and organizations to introduce the restaurant and build relationships. 
• Help generate catering leads and repeat business through outreach and follow-up. 
• Participate in local events, promotions, social media, and other grassroots marketing efforts. 

Qualifications

• Restaurant or hospitality experience preferred. 
• Previous shift leadership, supervisory, or management experience is a plus. 
• Strong guest-service and communication skills. 
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable taking initiative. 
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others. 
• Outgoing and comfortable engaging with businesses and members of the local community. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. 
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed. 
• Passion for great food, hospitality, and growing the business.
