About This Role:
We’re seeking an energetic, creative Shark Tank Teacher to inspire high school students to develop innovative ideas, think creatively, and confidently present their projects.

In this role, you will guide students through the process of brainstorming ideas, identifying challenges, developing creative solutions, building presentations, and pitching their concepts in a Shark Tank-style format. Students will strengthen skills in communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and public speaking while bringing their ideas to life.

The ideal candidate will create an engaging, hands-on classroom environment where students feel encouraged to take risks, share their ideas, and build confidence. Teachers are empowered to bring their own creativity and teaching style into the classroom, with ongoing organizational support to help manage classroom logistics and day-to-day responsibilities.

Location:
This role is in-person at one of our partner schools in Brooklyn, NY.

Schedule:
Monday & Wednesday: 11:35 AM–12:20 PM, 1:35–2:20 PM, 3:10–3:55 PM — 3 periods/day
Tuesday: 2:25–3:10 PM, 3:10–3:55 PM — 2 periods
Thursday: 11:35 AM–12:20 PM, 2:25–3:10 PM, 3:10–3:55 PM — 3 periods

Compensation:
$28,000

Requirements:

• Charismatic, engaging, and student-focused personality
• Passion for creativity, innovation, and working with young learners
• Teaching, coaching, mentoring, or related experience preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Comfort with technology (or openness to learning new platforms)
• Ability to create an exciting, hands-on classroom environment
