Shake Maker – B-Lux Grille & Bar

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Shake Maker. In this role, you will mix and prepare shakes according to company recipes while ensuring accuracy, freshness, and exceptional presentation.

As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll create handcrafted shakes that delight guests through exceptional quality, creativity, and presentation. By preparing each order with accuracy, consistency, and enthusiasm, you'll help deliver memorable dining experiences while supporting a fun, fast-paced environment for both guests and fellow associates.

Pay Rate - $14/Hr.

Key Responsibilities  

• Prepare shakes, smoothies, and specialty beverages by following standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.
• Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting guests, accurately preparing orders, and creating a friendly, welcoming experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation while adhering to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Stock, rotate, and replenish ingredients and supplies, monitoring product freshness and following FIFO inventory practices.
• Operate beverage preparation equipment safely and efficiently, assisting with opening, closing, cleaning, and routine maintenance duties.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during high-volume periods while supporting other Quick Service outlets as business needs require.

What We’re Looking For  

• Previous experience in food service, quick service, beverage preparation, or customer service preferred, but not required.
• Ability to accurately follow standardized recipes and preparation procedures.
• Strong commitment to providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, or willingness to obtain required food handler certification.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions, including blending and beverage preparation.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask, maintain attention to detail, and thrive in a high-volume, guest-focused environment.
