Summary

Radwell International is seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Motor Technician to join our Production team. This position focuses on the repair, testing, troubleshooting, and refurbishment of industrial motors, servo motors, and related electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing and automation environments.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in industrial maintenance, motor repair, automation, controls, robotics, manufacturing, or electronics repair. Key Responsibilities

• Repair, troubleshoot, and refurbish industrial motors, servo motors, and electro-mechanical equipment
• Perform component-level electronic and electro-mechanical repairs using industry-standard troubleshooting techniques
• Properly disassemble, inspect, diagnose, repair, and reassemble industrial motors
• Perform preventive maintenance activities and reliability testing
• Remove and replace bearings, feedback devices, encoders, and other mechanical or electrical components
• Test electrical and servo feedback devices to verify functionality and performance
• Utilize oscilloscopes, manufacturer software, and diagnostic equipment during testing and repair processes
• Perform motor testing using amplifiers, drives, and motion control systems
• Utilize specialized testing systems for feedback device testing and alignment
• Order necessary replacement parts required to complete repairs
• Maintain detailed repair documentation and update tracking notes within company systems
• Accurately communicate repair completions, delays, and technical concerns to supervisors and team members
• Meet production, quality, and repair performance standards
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

What We Are Looking For

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
• Experience repairing motors, industrial equipment, automation products, robotics, or electronic systems preferred
• Ability to perform component-level troubleshooting and repairs
• Strong soldering skills preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision equipment
• Ability to read technical documentation and follow repair procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to learn new equipment, technologies, and repair techniques
• Ability to provide personal hand tools as required

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong computer proficiency
• Electrical and electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrated soldering and repair abilities
• Experience using oscilloscopes and diagnostic equipment preferred
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• One to three years of related technical, industrial, electrical, electronics, maintenance, or repair experience preferred
• Technical School Certification in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred
• Industrial automation, robotics, motor repair, or motion control experience is a plus
• Technical or industrial product knowledge preferred

Work Schedule

This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Overtime, including occasional Saturdays, may be required to support operational demands.

Work Environment

This position operates in a production and repair environment and requires the use of industrial testing equipment, oscilloscopes, diagnostic systems, hand tools, and power tools. Employees regularly perform hands-on repair work and should be comfortable standing for extended periods, lifting components, and working with industrial equipment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
