Job Details: Job Location: APE WA - Kent, WA, Salary Range: $20.00 - $23.00Hourly, Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Shop/Service Support Technician to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of production and manufacturing equipment. In this role, you will support skilled technicians by performing routine maintenance tasks, assisting with repairs, and helping ensure equipment reliability and shop efficiency across manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance checks on production and manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
Assist with troubleshooting and repair activities under the direction of journeyman or lead technicians.
Support equipment readiness by preparing tools, materials, and work areas for maintenance and repair activities.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and basic repair documentation.
Coordinate with technicians and shop leadership to help prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize production downtime.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies, contributing to a strong safety culture.
Qualifications: Requirements:
Mechanical aptitude with interest in industrial or manufacturing equipment.
Prior shop, warehouse, or maintenance support experience preferred.
Ability to follow procedures and work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and grow into higher technical roles.
Working Conditions: Outdoors. Exposure to various weather conditions, dust, fumes, and hazardous materials such as solvents, adhesives, paints, and other chemicals.
