Service Operations Manager - Industrial Doors

We are currently seeking an exceptionally organized, self-motivated and highly qualified Operations Manager for the Dock and Door Division of our local material handling dealership. As we grow, we are looking for new Team Members who will embrace our culture, vision and values and commit to be the best in all areas of our business. 

As a manager for Wiese, you are the driver of culture, operations, and safety for one of the nation’s largest and oldest Cat Lift Truck dealers. You manage all aspects of our business at the local level and implement Wiese’s strategic plan to achieve specific goals of profitability and growth. You lead by example, promoting our Wiese vision, values and culture, and safety while supporting all that has made Wiese a leader in the material handling equipment and service industry. 

A Wiese Manager knows the market and anticipates the needs of current and prospective customers. The successful candidate will lead a service and parts staff to its highest revenue potential, work as a partner with our sales and rental teams and lead local safety efforts to ensure our Team Members go home healthy every day.  

As a manager, you will act as both a mentor and teacher, hiring and developing staff to bring out your team’s very best performance. Success will be measured by your team’s ability to achieve strategic business goals.

Qualifications: Ideal candidate must have proven ability to:

Construction background or related experience preferable
60% Office-based / 40% Customer-facing
Master Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word 

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience of service/repair department
Basic understanding of all our products and services required. 
Strong communication skills including the desire to develop and lead a team
Ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks/projects
Basic understanding of business management, financial documents, team building, motivation skills. 
Effective computer skills

Professional appearance and demeanor
A general knowledge of construction or related experience is highly desirable.
