Job Details: Job Location: The Jefferson Hotel - RICHMOND, VA, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Any, Job Category: Server/Service Attendant, Lemaire, the acclaimed restaurant at The Jefferson Hotel, is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Part-Time AM or PM Server Assistant / Food Runner to support our evening service team. This role is ideal for someone who is guest-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in an elegant, fast-paced dining environment. By assisting servers and running food from the kitchen, this position plays a critical part in ensuring smooth service and an exceptional dining experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

Assist servers in providing exceptional service by clearing and resetting tables, refilling water, and delivering items as needed.
Support overall guest satisfaction by maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
Anticipate the needs of both guests and service staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Deliver food promptly and accurately from the kitchen to the dining room, ensuring correct presentation.
Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to confirm dish details, modifications, and timing.
Coordinate with servers to ensure food is delivered in the proper order and to the correct guests.
Follow all health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines.
Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to support coordinated service.
Perform side work and closing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Prior experience in a full-service restaurant preferred but not required.
A positive attitude and commitment to high-quality service.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Punctual, dependable, and willing to take initiative.
Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting moderate weights for extended periods.
