Forno Osteria and Bar Montgomery is seeking an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Server/Bartender to join our team. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, upscale-casual environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about food, wine, and craft cocktails, and takes pride in creating memorable dining moments.
Key Responsibilities
Service Responsibilities:
Greet guests promptly and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere
Guide guests through menu selections, including food, wine, and specialty cocktails
Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them efficiently
Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, personalized service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions responsibly
Bartending Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to recipe standards
Maintain full knowledge of wine lists, beer selections, and craft cocktails
Engage guests at the bar with professionalism and personality
Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area
Assist with inventory and restocking as needed
QualificationsQualifications
Must be available during peak times (Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday)
Previous serving and bartending experience preferred (2+ years ideal)
Knowledge of Italian cuisine, wine pairings, and classic cocktails is a plus
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
Must meet state requirements for alcohol service
