We are looking for a certified senior wellness instructor who loves what they do and also knows that a group exercise class can engage a member like nothing else! What is needed for this job:

• One of the following: National Group Fitness certification, Silver Sneakers Certification, Chair Yoga, Low impact Aerobics, or specialized Nationally recognized Senior Fitness certification
• Team player with a commanding, positive presence and passion for connecting with members, aiding wellness, and building relationships
• The ability to adapt your class/style for the members in front of you

The responsibilities we will trust you with:

• Finding new and engaging ways to connect with our members during class
• Instructing an effective, safe class for all abilities in the gym
• Willing and able to serve as a substitute for fellow instructors
• To be proud to wear your Y gear and be an advocate for us
