The Opportunity

Storable is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiting Contractor to support technical hiring across a growing SaaS organization. This is a hands-on recruiting role for an experienced technical recruiter who can quickly understand complex hiring needs, build high-quality pipelines, and deliver an excellent candidate experience. The ideal contractor has recruited for SaaS or technology companies and is comfortable hiring engineering, data, infrastructure, security, product, and other specialized technical talent. You will bring sound judgment, market knowledge, urgency, and a practical, consultative approach to each search.

This role is structured as a remote temporary contract with a flexible workload of approximately 20–40 hours per week, based on business needs and search volume. Workload and priorities may flex over the course of the engagement.

What You’ll Do

• Top-of-Funnel building for some roles and possibility for full-cycle recruiting for other roles, from intake and sourcing through interviews, offer, and close.
• Recruit across technology and product functions such as software engineering, data and AI, infrastructure, DevOps/SRE, cybersecurity, product, and other specialized technology areas.
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies using direct sourcing, referrals, networking, talent communities, and recruiting platforms.
• Conduct thoughtful recruiter screens that assess technical experience, scope, motivation, communication, and alignment with the role.
• Build and maintain diverse, high-quality pipelines for both immediate openings and anticipated hiring needs.
• Partner with the TA team, hiring managers, and interview teams to keep searches moving efficiently and make timely, evidence-based decisions.
• Calibrate strategically with search partners and challenge assumptions constructively and help teams distinguish true requirements from preferences.
• Advise on talent-market conditions, candidate availability, compensation considerations, search strategy, and realistic timelines.
• Provide proactive updates on pipeline health, risks, feedback, and recommended adjustments.
• Create a clear, responsive, and respectful candidate experience throughout the process.
• Represent Storable’s values and employer brand in every candidate interaction.
• Maintain accurate, timely records in the applicant tracking system and follow established recruiting operating procedures.
• Leverage approved AI-assisted recruiting tools, sourcing technology, automation, and structured workflows.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of recruiting experience, including significant hands-on technical recruiting in a SaaS, software, or high-growth technology environment.
• Demonstrated success recruiting software engineering and other specialized technical talent in competitive markets.
• Strong command of full-cycle recruiting, direct sourcing, technical screening, stakeholder management, and offer closing.
• Ability to assess technical talent thoughtfully without relying solely on keywords or title matching.
• Experience using AI sourcing, recruiting automation, or recruiting intelligence tools.
• Strong understanding of how technical organizations are structured and how engineering, data, infrastructure, security, and product roles contribute to a SaaS business.
• Excellent written, verbal, and async communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple searches, and adjust quickly as priorities change.
• High level of organization, follow-through, discretion, and judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for a multi-product or multi-vertical SaaS company.
• Experience hiring for AI, machine learning, data engineering, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps/SRE, or cybersecurity roles.
• Experience with Greenhouse or a comparable applicant tracking system.
• Experience recruiting in the Seattle market.
