Position Summary
The Senior Talent Attraction Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic recruitment marketing initiatives that help clients attract, engage, and hire top talent. This role serves as a trusted recruitment marketing consultant to clients and internal stakeholders, aligning employer branding, talent attraction, and recruitment media strategies with workforce planning, hiring priorities, and long-term business objectives.
This position combines strategic planning with hands-on execution across employer branding, recruitment advertising, social media, talent communities, content strategy, hiring events, creative campaign development, recruitment marketing technology, and performance analytics. Success in this role requires strong project management, consultative communication, strategic thinking, creativity, and the ability to influence stakeholders while managing multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment.
Fixed-term (4-month contract) based on the needs of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Marketing Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment marketing strategies aligned with client hiring goals, workforce planning, and employer branding objectives.
- Partner with recruiters and client stakeholders to identify recruitment challenges and recommend strategic marketing solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities that strengthen employer brand positioning and talent attraction efforts.
- Develop quarterly and annual recruitment marketing roadmaps that support both immediate hiring needs and long-term employer branding initiatives.
- Develop recruitment advertising and media strategies that maximize budget efficiency, candidate quality, and hiring outcomes.
- Continuously evaluate recruitment marketing trends and recommend innovative approaches to improve candidate engagement and hiring results.
Account Management & Program Ownership
- Own the overall recruitment marketing strategy and execution for assigned client accounts.
- Balance competing priorities across multiple clients while ensuring high-quality execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, approvals, and communication across internal and external stakeholders.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively recommend solutions that support long-term account success and growth.
Client Partnership & Strategic Consultation
- Serve as the strategic recruitment marketing advisor for assigned client accounts, building trusted relationships with client stakeholders and internal recruiting teams.
- Lead recurring client meetings to review campaign performance, hiring priorities, employer branding opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
- Align recruitment marketing initiatives with workforce planning, hiring forecasts, budget priorities, and business objectives.
- Translate business challenges into actionable recruitment marketing strategies that improve hiring outcomes.
- Proactively identify opportunities to expand recruitment marketing support through strategic recommendations and consultative partnership.
- Present campaign performance, strategic recommendations, and recruitment marketing insights to client leadership.
Employer Branding & Content Strategy
- Develop and execute employer branding strategies that showcase client culture, employee experience, career opportunities, and employee value propositions.
- Develop and oversee recruitment marketing content strategies across multiple channels, including:
- Social media campaigns
- Email marketing
- Talent community communications
- Recruitment advertising
- Graphics and creative collateral
- Video content
- Blog articles
- Presentations
- Recruitment event materials
- Partner with client marketing and communications teams to ensure recruitment marketing aligns with broader organizational branding initiatives.
- Maintain consistent employer branding, messaging, and visual identity across all recruitment marketing efforts.
Talent Communities & Candidate Engagement
- Manage talent community strategy, audience segmentation, campaign planning, and ongoing engagement initiatives.
- Develop email nurture campaigns that strengthen candidate relationships and support future hiring needs.
- Monitor engagement metrics and optimize campaigns based on performance insights.
- Recommend innovative engagement strategies that strengthen talent pipelines and improve candidate experience.
Social Media & Recruitment Advertising
- Develop and manage organic and paid social media strategies aligned with employer branding and hiring priorities.
- Plan, execute, and optimize recruitment marketing campaigns across multiple digital channels.
- Collaborate with recruiters to develop recruitment marketing assets that support active hiring initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance through testing, optimization, and emerging recruitment marketing trends.
Hiring Events & Talent Attraction Initiatives
- Own end-to-end recruitment marketing strategy for hiring events and talent attraction initiatives.
- Consult with internal stakeholders and clients to determine when hiring events are the appropriate solution and recommend alternative recruitment marketing strategies when appropriate.
- Develop event branding, promotional materials, social media campaigns, candidate communications, and creative assets.
- Evaluate event performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Recruitment Marketing Technology & Innovation
- Manage recruitment marketing platforms including Beamery, Greenhouse, Mailchimp, Indeed, Canva, and other recruitment marketing technologies.
- Support campaign execution, platform optimization, and troubleshooting while identifying opportunities to improve recruiter and candidate experiences.
- Recommend new technologies, workflows, and automation opportunities that improve operational efficiency and recruitment marketing effectiveness.
Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor recruitment marketing performance across multiple channels and provide actionable recommendations based on campaign results, engagement metrics, and hiring outcomes.
- Measure recruitment marketing ROI and identify opportunities to improve campaign performance, media effectiveness, candidate engagement, and hiring outcomes.
- Develop executive-ready reporting that communicates campaign performance, business impact, and future opportunities.
- Identify operational improvements that increase efficiency, scalability, and overall recruitment marketing effectiveness.
- Develop documentation, templates, and best practices that improve consistency and support knowledge sharing across the team.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with recruiters, media specialists, creative teams, and client stakeholders to deliver integrated recruitment marketing solutions.
- Provide strategic guidance to recruiters and stakeholders on recruitment marketing best practices, campaign strategy, and employer branding initiatives.
- Mentor team members by sharing recruitment marketing best practices and strategic guidance.
- Support onboarding and training of new team members through documentation, shadow sessions, and process development.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve recruitment marketing operations, processes, and client experience.
- Foster collaboration across teams to ensure successful execution of recruitment marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in recruitment marketing, employer branding, talent acquisition marketing, or digital marketing.
- Experience serving as a strategic advisor to clients or senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of recruitment marketing strategies, employer branding, recruitment advertising, and candidate attraction techniques.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
- Experience managing recruitment marketing media budgets and advertising campaigns.
- Excellent written communication, storytelling, content development, and presentation skills.
- Strong project management, organizational, and consultative communication skills.
- Experience analyzing campaign performance and translating insights into strategic recommendations.
- Experience with recruitment marketing platforms such as Beamery, Greenhouse, Mailchimp, Indeed, Canva, and social media management tools preferred.
