This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Solutions Consultant, Data and Analytics / Conseiller principal en solutions, données et analyse based in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of insurance expertise, SaaS technology, data, analytics, and consultative sales. You will partner with sales teams and prospective customers to uncover business needs, define requirements, and demonstrate how complex technology solutions can address real-world insurance challenges. A significant part of the role involves leading discovery sessions, delivering tailored demonstrations, and contributing to proposals, RFPs, and RFIs throughout the sales cycle. You will also help customers understand the technical implications of cloud migration and analyze existing integrations to identify business requirements and technical constraints. The position combines customer engagement, solution design, industry knowledge, and commercial strategy in a highly collaborative environment. You will work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Cloud Operations, Professional Services, and other teams to build trusted customer relationships and support successful outcomes.

Accountabilities:

• Lead discovery sessions with sales teams and prospective customers to understand business needs, define detailed requirements, establish evaluation criteria, and align on the next steps in the sales process.
• Design and deliver value-based software demonstrations and presentations, both remotely and in person, tailoring content and messaging to customer needs and clearly differentiating solutions from alternatives in the market.
• Support all stages of the sales lifecycle, taking ownership of customer proposals, RFPs, RFIs, written responses, solution documentation, and other required sales materials.
• Translate insurance use cases and customer challenges into relevant SaaS, data, analytics, and geospatial solution approaches.
• Provide limited post-sale support to key customers, primarily working with project and implementation teams to facilitate a smooth transition.
• Develop and deliver presentations at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
• Partner with Product Marketing to maintain competitive intelligence, develop and update battle cards, and create other go-to-market materials and collateral.
• Collaborate with Cloud Operations and Professional Services to advise customers on the technical considerations and implications of migrating to cloud-based solutions.
• Lead customer-facing discovery sessions focused on existing integrations, analyzing business requirements and technical constraints and documenting recommendations for integration rework.
• Partner closely with sales teams to address customer pain points, strengthen solution positioning, and support long-term relationships within insurance and reinsurance markets.

Requirements

• Approximately 8 years of experience in sales, sales engineering, insurance sales, insurance operations, or a comparable customer-facing solution role within a complex, solution-based environment.
• Proven experience in the insurance or reinsurance sector, with knowledge of areas such as risk assessment, underwriting, exposure management, catastrophe risk, portfolio management, or claims analysis.
• Strong understanding of insurance distribution models and the insurance software landscape, including the roles of MGAs, program administrators, wholesale brokers, and other industry participants.
• Ability to leverage insurance expertise to support SaaS sales involving geospatial solutions, risk assessment, spatial data, or analytics.
• Experience translating insurance use cases into technology solutions and communicating the business value of data, analytics, and geospatial capabilities to customers.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or contribute to customer discovery, consultative problem-solving, solution design, and sales engagements.
• Proven experience delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations to non-technical audiences and clearly communicating business value.
• Familiarity with customer-facing solution design involving SaaS products, data workflows, APIs, integrations, configuration, or implementation concepts.
• Experience supporting proposals, RFPs, RFIs, written responses, solution documentation, or cross-functional deal execution.
• Experience with AI enablement is required.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience is required.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Consulting experience, SDLC knowledge, software implementation experience, project management experience, and underwriting experience are valued as additional qualifications.
