About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to help enterprise customers design, implement, and optimize complex payment solutions on the IXOPAY platform.

In this customer-facing role, you'll combine deep technical expertise with payments industry knowledge to architect scalable, resilient solutions that help merchants maximize payment performance and accelerate business growth. Working closely with Customer Experience, Product, Engineering, and enterprise customers, you'll serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle—from solution design through implementation and long-term optimization.

This is an opportunity to influence both customer success and product evolution while working on some of the most sophisticated payment implementations in the industry.

What You'll Do

Design Enterprise Payment Solutions

• Partner with enterprise customers to understand their technical requirements, business objectives, and payment strategies.

• Design scalable, secure, and resilient solution architectures that integrate seamlessly with customer environments and existing payment ecosystems.

• Recommend best practices for payment orchestration, tokenization, routing, and platform adoption.

Lead Complex Implementations

• Provide technical leadership throughout implementation, ensuring successful delivery of complex integrations and enterprise deployments.

• Support solution validation, technical workshops, architecture reviews, and production readiness activities.

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure successful go-lives.

Collaborate Across Teams

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Experience, and Implementation teams to translate customer requirements into successful technical solutions.

• Act as the technical voice of the customer, providing feedback that helps shape product enhancements and future platform capabilities.

• Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to support strategic customer engagements and long-term account growth.

Drive Technical Excellence

• Lead architecture reviews and establish best practices for enterprise solution design and implementation.

• Mentor Solutions Architects and share technical expertise across the organization.

• Develop customer documentation, technical enablement materials, and implementation guidance.

• Stay current on emerging payment technologies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 10+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, Enterprise Software Delivery, or a related customer-facing technical role.

• Experience designing and delivering complex enterprise software implementations.

• Strong understanding of APIs, web services, cloud architectures, and modern integration patterns.

• Experience communicating with both executive stakeholders and technical teams.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and relationship management skills.

• Experience working within Agile software development environments.

• Ability to travel up to 25% for customer engagements.

Preferred

• Experience within FinTech, payments, or financial services.

• Knowledge of payment orchestration, payment gateways, acquiring, tokenization, PCI DSS, or 3D Secure (3DS).

• Experience supporting enterprise merchants or global customer accounts.

• Experience mentoring technical teams or leading architecture reviews.

• Relevant cloud or architecture certifications.
