Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack (Launch)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack (Launch) based in United States.

This role focuses on creating a seamless product journey that helps local business owners move from initial discovery to successfully launching and adopting a digital platform. You will own customer-facing experiences across onboarding, activation, progress communication, upgrades, and AI-assisted setup. The work combines full-stack engineering with a strong focus on product experience, trust, and measurable customer outcomes. You will build automation and intelligent tooling that reduces manual effort while increasing the number of customers who can launch successfully. You will also help customers clearly understand the value they are receiving and identify relevant opportunities to adopt additional capabilities. Working closely with Product, Design, AI, and other engineering teams, you will have significant ownership in a remote-first, product-focused environment.

Accountabilities:

• Own the launch experience end-to-end, including customer-facing product surfaces, workflows, onboarding experiences, and communications that guide users from initial assessment to becoming fully active.
• Build intuitive onboarding, activation, progress, and upgrade experiences that minimize friction and increase customer trust.
• Develop automation, internal tooling, and AI-assisted setup capabilities that reduce the manual effort required to successfully launch customers.
• Create product experiences that increase self-service adoption and revenue by helping customers discover and activate additional platform capabilities.
• Surface clear proof of value throughout the customer journey, helping users understand what has been accomplished and why each next step is relevant.
• Partner closely with AI and product engineering teams to integrate intelligent, AI-powered capabilities into the launch experience.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and business stakeholders to translate customer needs and growth objectives into effective technical solutions.
• Own features through the full development lifecycle, from technical discovery and implementation through launch, iteration, and optimization.
• Identify opportunities to improve product workflows, engineering processes, automation, and customer outcomes.
• Contribute to a high-quality engineering culture through strong technical judgment, proactive problem-solving, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience delivering customer-facing product features.
• Extensive TypeScript experience and strong React expertise, with the ability to own the frontend of a feature end-to-end.
• Experience working with React and Next.js and/or backend technologies such as Node.js and MongoDB.
• Strong full-stack engineering capabilities and comfort working across frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Experience building onboarding, activation, conversion, or upgrade experiences where user experience and clear communication of value were important to the outcome.
• Experience working in a product-focused startup or scale-up environment where engineers take significant ownership and ship end-to-end with lean teams.
• Strong product intuition and a genuine interest in creating customer experiences that are simple, trustworthy, and effective.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with Product, Design, and business teams while navigating complex problems and changing priorities.
• Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and accountability, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration with distributed teams.
