Why this role matters

Radformation is seeking a self-motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our innovative and fast moving team.  This role is ideal for someone who wishes to use their coding skills to improve cancer care throughout the world.   You will work within Radformation’s fully remote teams to develop software for clinics.  The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for all aspects of coding and software development for our ChartCheck application, both the front end and back end.   For this position we prefer candidates with a wide range of expertise across the web / cloud spectrum of technologies and are looking for an engineer with strong C# application programming skills to complement their web skills.  ChartCheck is developed in C# and JavaScript so skills there are necessary.

Your software development and leadership skills will play an integral role as we design new products for cancer centers.

Responsibilities Include:

• Design, develop, and maintain features supporting radiotherapy plan checking workflows: DICOM integration, image visualization, dose visualization, plan visualization, DVH evaluation, and creating plan checks.
• Develop performant, reliable WPF desktop software.
• Integrate with oncology information systems via DICOM networking and related clinical interfaces
• Collaborate with physicists and product leaders to translate clinical requirements into production software
• Contribute to architecture, testing, code reviews, and technical decision-making
• Support teammates through collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge sharing

Required Experience:

• BS in CS or related field and at least 5 years experience, MS preferred.
• Deep programming expertise in a high level programming language, C#, C++. or Java. 
• Full Stack developer capable of frontend and backend development in web and cloud systems.
• Database experience, Mongo, MS SQL or PostGreSQL.
• C# .NET,HTML, CSS, Javascript, Lit (or equivalent technologies)
• Looking for a developer who prefers front-end programming over backend.  
• WPF / C#.NET experience.
• Clinical radiotherapy / imaging programming experience with DICOM.
• Experience with HIPAA and Medical Device regulations in software development
• Cybersecurity and software risk management experience

\n$150,000 - $180,000 a year

United States: $150,000–$180,000 USD base salary + bonus eligibility

Canada: CAD $165k–$200k + bonus eligibility
