A Day in the Life:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions and backend services using Golang.
• Build reusable infrastructure-as-code modules using Terraform to support consistent and reliable cloud environments.
• Develop APIs, microservices, automation tools, and integrations that support business and technical requirements.
• Translate solution designs and project requirements into secure, maintainable technical implementations.
• Automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure and application resources.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, security teams, and fellow developers to deliver complete technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code that follows established development and infrastructure standards.
• Actively use AI tools, including Claude through our Anthropic partnership, to streamline tasks, improve the quality of your work, and share best practices with teammates while continuously seeking new ways to integrate AI into your everyday workflows
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Review code and Terraform configurations to promote quality, consistency, security, and engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex application, deployment, and infrastructure issues across development and production environments.
• Improve application performance, infrastructure reliability, and deployment efficiency through automation and continuous optimization.
• Take ownership of assigned deliverables while clearly communicating progress, technical risks, and project dependencies.

What it takes:

• Consultative approach and problem solving skills to successfully align digital solutions with long-term business goals of the client
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance daily work, or a strong desire to do so, including a willingness to experiment, learn, and champion AI adoption within your role
• Claude Certified Developer or Architect highly preferred; possible opportunity to obtain as a Sparq colleague
• Commitment to understanding and exceeding client expectations
• Ability to perform project oversight and execution of deliverables
• Flexibility to adapt within a high-growth organization
