About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking an experienced Software Developer/Technical Lead to support the development, modernization, migration, and integration of enterprise applications within a complex IT environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, .NET technologies, SQL Server, and cloud environments, along with demonstrated experience leading technical teams and Agile development efforts.

This role will be responsible for providing technical leadership across application development and migration initiatives, designing and implementing scalable CRM solutions, integrating enterprise systems, and guiding development teams through the full software development lifecycle. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders, and translating mission and business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Experience supporting Federal Government customers and environments is highly desirable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership for Dynamics 365 CRM application development, modernization, migration, and integration initiatives.
• Lead the design, development, configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of Dynamics 365 CRM solutions.
• Develop and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Design and implement integrations between Dynamics 365 and enterprise applications using REST APIs, OData, JSON, XML, and other integration technologies.
• Develop and maintain custom CRM functionality, including plugins, JavaScript web resources, custom entities, forms, views, workflows, and security roles.
• Provide hands-on development using C#, JavaScript, .NET, ASP.NET, Web API, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, triggers, and reporting queries.
• Support application migration efforts and contribute to cloud-based application development and modernization initiatives.
• Lead development teams using Scrum/Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog management, technical planning, and delivery activities.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to developers and other team members.
• Collaborate with project managers, product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and other technical teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Identify technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and maintainability requirements.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions and provide recommendations regarding technology selection and implementation approaches.
• Support the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Ensure development activities align with organizational standards, security requirements, and applicable Federal Government policies and practices.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:  

• 10+ years of experience in the IT services or software development field.
• Experience supporting IT application migration and development projects.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience working with cloud environments.

Required Skills & Certifications: 

• Hands-on experience developing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Strong development experience with C#, JavaScript, .NET, ASP.NET, Web API, or similar Microsoft technologies.
• Experience developing CRM plugins, JavaScript web resources, custom entities, forms, views, workflows, and security roles.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications using REST APIs, OData, JSON, XML, and related integration methods.
• Strong SQL Server experience, including database development, stored procedures, views, triggers, and reporting queries.
• Ability to lead projects using Scrum/Agile frameworks and methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams, including the ability to motivate, mentor, and engage team members.
• Federal Government experience is highly desirable.
• Active Secret clearance required.

Clearance Requirements: Must possess or be eligible to obtain and complete a government security screening and/or a Secret security clearance.
