Senior Scheduler/Business Analyst

Position Summary 
Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), a trusted partner to federal health agencies, is seeking a Senior Scheduler/Business Analyst to lead day-to-day schedule development and maintenance for a federal health IT program. This role ensures schedules remain compliant with industry best practices, including the DCMA 14-Point Assessment and GAO Schedule Assessment Guide principles, and works closely with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and government partners to maintain accurate, actionable program schedules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Responsible for the day-to-day mechanics of schedule development and maintenance.
• Ensures schedules are compliant with industry best practices, including the DCMA 14-Point Assessment and GAO Schedule Assessment Guide principles.
• Builds out new DCMA-compliant schedules as new task orders and modifications are awarded for additional program scope.
• Develops and writes client-facing schedule reports.
• Creates regular and ad hoc reports for leadership.
• Identifies, escalates, and monitors schedule-related risks and issues to appropriate points of contact (POCs).
• Presents schedule-related briefings on leadership calls, both internal and external.
• Works with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and government partners to regularly maintain schedules.
• Regularly coordinates with approximately 30-40 different points of contact to maintain schedule data.
• Serves as both an individual scheduler managing specific areas of work and an active member of the broader scheduling team, sharing critical data, cross-project impacts, and areas of process improvement.

Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree
• 3-6 years of MS Project scheduling experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining integrated master schedules in compliance with DCMA 14-Point Assessment standards and GAO Schedule Assessment Guide principles.
• Experience building and maintaining schedules in support of new task orders and contract modifications.
• Experience developing client-facing schedule reports and ad hoc reporting for leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, escalate, and monitor schedule-related risks and issues.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including experience delivering schedule-related briefings to internal and external leadership.
• Familiar with Office 365 applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate with a high volume of points of contact (30-40) across cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and government partners.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

The posted salary range represents PFS's good-faith estimate for this role. Actual compensation offered will be determined by a combination of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate's education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience; internal equity; geographic location; and contract and organizational requirements. PFS is committed to fair, consistent, and equitable compensation practices across the organization, and offers are calibrated to maintain internal pay equity while remaining competitive in the external market.
Salary Range: $71,000 - $105,000
