Title: Senior RF Engineer
Duration: 6 months 
Location: San Francisco, CA

Hours: Minimum 40 Hours/Week 

Role:

• Design, develop, and optimize Wi-Fi network architectures for large-scale warehouse and industrial environments.
• Conduct RF propagation modeling, simulation, and measurement using tools.
• Analyze and resolve Wi-Fi performance issues including co-channel interference, multipath fading, signal attenuation, and roaming latency.
• Develop and execute RF test plans including conducted and OTA (over-the-air) testing of Wi-Fi modules and systems.
• Collaborate with hardware and embedded systems teams to integrate Wi-Fi modules into robotic platforms.
• Design and validate RF shielding, filtering, compliance for robotic systems operating in dense industrial RF environments.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in RF engineering with a strong focus on Wi-Fi system design and optimization.
• Deep understanding of 802.11 protocols, RF propagation, modulation schemes
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, signal generators, Wi-Fi packet capture tools).
• Proficiency in RF simulation and survey tools.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Range is $85/hr to $95/hr.
