Senior Product Marketing Manager, Agentic Identity Security

1Password is becoming far more than an enterprise password company, and Apono is at the heart of that shift. We're hiring the product marketer who will help define the narrative for what comes next.

The Opportunity

AI agents are already operating inside enterprise infrastructure. They request access, hold credentials, touch production, and act on behalf of people who are not always watching. Securing that new reality is one of the biggest emerging challenges in identity security.

This is a zero-to-one role. The story for what Apono becomes inside 1Password is still being written, and you'll play a central role in defining it.

You won't receive a finished brief and turn it into collateral. You'll build the strategy, develop and test the narrative in market, and evolve it as the product and category move underneath you.

You'll report directly to the Head of Marketing and work closely with leadership across Apono and 1Password. You'll be the dedicated product marketer on the Apono side of the business, with peers across product marketing, solutions marketing, and technical product marketing at 1Password.

Roughly 80% of this role is building the new narrative and 20% is supporting the sales motion.

What You'll Do

• Become the subject matter expert for agentic access control and agentic identity security across the company
• Own and design the narrative for Apono's next chapter as part of 1Password
• Drive the work that establishes 1Password as a leader in agentic identity security
• Build deep understanding of the market, customers, personas, use cases, and pain points around how agents interact with enterprise infrastructure and services
• Own messaging, content direction, sales enablement, and the strategy that connects them
• Own launch management, competitive intelligence, and win/loss analysis
• Raise our positioning, documentation, and storytelling to a standard the category has not seen yet
• Work directly with our CEO, CTO, Head of Product, product managers, and go-to-market leaders



Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Deep knowledge of agentic security. You understand where the market is today, where it's heading, and the difference between real capability, roadmap, and noise.
• A genuinely AI-native way of working. You use AI and agents to meaningfully scale how you research, build narratives, and execute, beyond using a chatbot for first drafts. We'll want to hear specifics.
• Exceptional positioning and narrative skills. You can turn complex technical products and emerging market shifts into a compelling story, then translate that story into a go-to-market strategy.
• A zero-to-one mindset. You're comfortable with ambiguity, move proactively, and can diagnose an opportunity and build from scratch without waiting for a detailed brief.
• Relevant experience. You have 5+ years of product marketing experience in cybersecurity or high tech, with a strong track record of launching products, defining positioning, and driving zero-to-one initiatives.
