The Future of Planner Enablement

Acting as the key executor of Facet’s Planner Development team, the Senior Planner Enablement & Onboarding Manager translates advice standards, career pathways, and AI-driven quality rubrics into practical onboarding programs, ongoing skill drills, and career progression modules across the full planner lifecycle. 

What Makes This Role Different?

• Partner directly with the Senior Director to translate advice strategy, behavioral coaching frameworks, and career pathways into live, scalable training programs.
• Serve as the primary operational point of contact across a planner's first 90 days, equipping new hires with the tools and coordination needed to deliver objective, life-changing advice.
• Facilitate hands-on training for planners on Facet’s proprietary tech ecosystem and AI tools. 
• Work seamlessly across Operations, Compliance, People, Planning Leadership, and other cross functional leaders to enable a successful onboarding experience while training Team Leads on how to run weekly practice drills and 1:1 coaching frameworks.

Your Impact & Responsibilities

Onboarding & Early Ramp Execution (60%)

• Serve as the main operational liaison and guide across planners' first 90 days on the job.
• Own setup logistics and administrative readiness for rolling cohorts of ongoing hiring classes, eliminating cross-functional friction with key partners (e.g., IT, Operations, and Compliance.)
• Track early learning retention, tool adoption, and performance indicators throughout the first 90 days; deploy targeted interventions early for lagging indicators.
• Execute structured handoffs and provide Planning Leaders with clear visibility into new hire readiness, strengths, and ongoing coaching needs.

Career Progression & Upskilling (25%)

• Operationalize and facilitate career path training modules 
• Run targeted upskilling modules and practice drills designed to prepare planners to transition seamlessly across career tiers (e.g., Associate Planner to Financial Planner).
• Facilitate regular training sessions and practice drills to elevate total financial planning mastery across existing planner cohorts.

Leadership Enablement (15%)

• Train planning leaders on effective practice drills and 1:1 coaching frameworks 
• Collect real-time feedback from new hires and leaders to iterate, refine, and optimize enablement playbooks and identify curriculum gaps.

Requirements

• Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.
• 5–8+ years of experience in enablement, onboarding operations, or advisor development within financial services, fintech, or fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated experience training financial planners and facilitating career progression programs.
• Deep understanding of core financial planning concepts, advisor workflows, and practice management.
• Agile mindset with proven capability to identify gaps in training programs, propose solutions, test instructional methods, and iterate rapidly.
• Highly comfortable using AI and modern tech tools to drive operational and learning efficiency.
• Strong project leader who can work independently and drive initiatives across cross-functional teams without needing direct reports. 
• Exceptional project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel for in-person training as needed.

• $135,000 – $165,000 base salary: Determined by experience, knowledge, and skills.
