Compensation: $90,000–$100,000, depending on experience

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Paid Media Manager to join a small, highly technical, fully remote digital media agency. This is an opportunity for a performance marketer who enjoys being close to the work — developing strategy, managing paid media campaigns, analyzing performance, communicating directly with clients, and getting hands-on inside advertising platforms.

This is not a role where strategy gets handed off to someone else for execution. You’ll be expected to think strategically and execute tactically, moving comfortably between high-level media strategy, campaign optimization, data analysis, and client conversations.

Our team is intentionally small and flat, which means your work will have a meaningful impact. You’ll work with a select group of higher-touch client accounts and have significant ownership over their paid media performance.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute multi-channel paid media strategies aligned with client business and performance goals.
• Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other digital advertising platforms.
• Make informed decisions about budget allocation across channels based on campaign performance and overall business objectives.
• Analyze campaign and business performance to determine where media investment should increase, decrease, or shift.
• Optimize campaigns for metrics such as ROAS, CAC, CPL, CPA, conversion volume, and overall business performance.
• Build, launch, troubleshoot, and optimize campaigns directly within advertising platforms.
• Evaluate performance across channels rather than viewing Google, Meta, and other platforms in isolation.
• Use campaign data to identify opportunities, diagnose performance issues, and make recommendations.
• Build and maintain reporting using Excel, Google Sheets, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Work directly with clients to communicate performance, recommendations, strategy, and results.
• Turn complex performance marketing concepts and data into clear, concise recommendations that clients can understand and act on.
• Collaborate with a small team of experienced marketers in a highly technical, low-bureaucracy environment.
• Stay close to both the strategy and execution of campaigns from planning through optimization and reporting.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a sophisticated performance marketer who combines strong paid search and paid social expertise, analytical ability, hands-on campaign management, and excellent communication skills.

Experience & Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads / paid search AND Meta Ads / paid social.
• Experience developing and executing multi-channel paid media strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to make strategic budget allocation decisions across multiple paid media channels.
• Experience managing meaningful paid media budgets and making decisions that directly impact campaign and business performance.
• Current or recent hands-on experience working directly inside advertising platforms — not solely managing people or agencies that execute campaigns.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Advanced comfort with Excel or Google Sheets, including functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, or similar tools.
• Experience working with reporting and visualization platforms such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
• Ability to interpret campaign data independently and translate it into actionable recommendations.
• Strong client communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex marketing and performance concepts simply, directly, and without unnecessary jargon.
• Approximately 3+ years of relevant experience is a good starting point, but we care more about the depth and quality of your experience than a specific number of years.

• Full-funnel performance marketing
• Attribution and measurement
