About the Role: The Senior Manager, Cellular Solutions is responsible for formulating Aviat’s Cellular portfolio strategy (Aprisa LTE 5G and other cellular products, related solutions, and services) based on revenue and profitability, competitiveness, and sales performance for the product life cycle.  The role is responsible for making strategic and tactical decisions based on an intimate knowledge of customer economics and building the most attractive economic value proposition possible for Aviat’s solutions and be responsible for the entire Aviat software portfolio

 Responsibilities:
 

• Defines product roadmap, pricing strategy, distribution, and product performance. Drives strategy required to grow product business.
• Owns new product introduction including market opportunity analysis and validation through the voice of customer (VoC) process, technical requirements, product launch and end of life.
• Defines market needs for solution launch and increased growth through VoC. Ensure risks associated with market needs are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled. 
• Aligns key roles and key performance indicators (KPI) with strategic marketing initiatives. Builds pricing models by segment for new products that will enable sales to drive revenue. 
• Manages tradeoffs and resource allocation to meet overall portfolio objectives.
• Drive portfolio revenue, margin objectives. Manage technology, cost, quality, and other operational aspects of the product portfolio.
• Accomplishes department objectives by planning and evaluating department activities. Develop and coaches cross-functional team members to establish an industry leading product management competency. 
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to the product domain.
• Continuously assess and improve internal product management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications & Competencies:

•    Minimum of 5 years working in high-tech global B2B marketing, Lead generation and digital marketing. Understanding of AI potential.

•    Good technical understanding of cellular networking and typical customer use cases. Ability to translate opportunities into product strategy and roadmap.

•    Experience in telecommunications or closely related industry preferred. Exposure to and understanding of wireless transmission, 4G/5G mobile and related technologies is desirable.

•    Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.

•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Experience with Microsoft Bi, Jira desirable.

•    Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

•    Able to work with cross-functional engineering and design teams by aligning technical execution with user data and business value.

•    Ability to create documentation and reports to communicate project status, technical requirements, and other relevant information.

•    Strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and make informed decisions.

•    Analytical skills to assess data and trends related to the product lifecycle.

•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and directions.

•    Manage challenging situations and stakeholders, including vendor/contractor relationships.

•    Creative thinker, with good writing and communication skills, with attention to detail.

•    Strategic thinker, striving for constant improvement and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

•    A genuine desire to drive product and services successfully and implement the goals of Aviat Networks.

•    Position can be full-time remote working or within an office environment, depending on location. Relocation is not required.

•    Due to the global focus of the role requires flexibility to often work outside of typical business hours, including mornings and evenings.
