About the Opportunity

The Senior Manager of Ellucian Student Delivery is a pivotal leadership role responsible for turning the Ellucian Student vision into a scalable, repeatable, and globally executable Professional Services delivery motion. This leader will operationalize the delivery model for Ellucian Student, drive global enablement and delivery readiness, curate and create aligned prescriptive delivery content, and manage the Recruiting & Admissions and Student Progression consulting practices. Working across Product, R&D, Sales, Customer Success, Services Operations, regional delivery leaders, and partners, this individual will ensure teams are prepared to scope, sell, implement, and optimize Ellucian Student with consistent quality. The role combines practice leadership, delivery architecture, enablement, and operational discipline to improve customer outcomes, accelerate time to value, and scale the business globally.

Where you will make an impact

Ellucian Student Delivery Go-to-Market

• Define, launch, and continuously improve the end-to-end Professional Services delivery motion for Ellucian Student, from opportunity qualification and scoping through implementation, transition, and optimization.
• Translate product capabilities, roadmap priorities, and market needs into standardized offerings, implementation methodologies, work plans, role definitions, estimates, governance, quality gates, and success measures.
• Partner with Product, R&D, Sales, Customer Success, Services Operations, regional leaders, and partners to establish launch readiness, clarify handoffs, and align delivery capacity with pipeline and customer commitments.
• Support sales and solution teams with scoping, proposal development, deal review, delivery risk assessment, and clear positioning of the services required for customer success.
• Establish and monitor performance indicators for delivery quality, customer satisfaction, time to value, utilization, and adoption.
• Lead a matrixed Ellucian Student delivery incubation team in delivery iteration and continuous improvement efforts based on lessons learned from delivery execution. 

Global Enablement and Delivery Readiness

• Partner with the global enablement team to drive the enablement strategy and roadmap for Ellucian Student across internal consultants, leaders, partners, and adjacent customer-facing teams.
• Curate, create, govern, and continuously improve standardized delivery content, including implementation guides, playbooks, runbooks, work aids, templates, reusable accelerators, and learning materials.
• Ensure enablement and delivery materials are prescriptive, scalable, SaaS-safe, current with product releases, and usable across regions and customer engagement modalities.
• Partner with Enablement and Communications teams to design and deliver learning paths, workshops, train-the-trainer programs, and communities of practice that build sustainable expertise.
• Maintain active feedback loops with consultants, partners, customers, Product, and R&D to capture lessons learned, identify readiness gaps, and channel delivery insights into product, process, and content improvements.

Consulting Practice Leadership

• Lead the Recruiting & Admissions and Student Progression consulting practices, with accountability for people leadership, resource planning, performance management, capability development, and succession planning.
• Build and maintain the skills, capacity, and organizational readiness required to meet current and future demand, using employees, contractors, and partners as appropriate.
• Provide strategic direction and mentorship to practice leaders and consultants, fostering a collaborative culture of accountability, knowledge sharing, professional growth, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee practice and portfolio health, proactively managing staffing, utilization, quality, customer satisfaction, project risk, and escalations.
• Ensure consistent application of delivery methodology, governance, and best practices across engagements, and serve as the senior escalation point for complex delivery and customer issues.
• Serve as a principal liaison among consulting practices, regional delivery teams, PS leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders, communicating priorities, risks, and decisions transparently and building trusted advisor relationships.

What will you bring

• 10+ years of experience in Professional Services consulting, enterprise software implementation, or related services delivery, ideally in a customer-facing role and with significant people or practice leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to take a new product or services delivery motion from concept through operationalization, adoption, and global scale.
• Deep knowledge of the consulting delivery lifecycle, including solution scoping, implementation methodology, project governance, quality management, resource planning, financial performance, and customer success.
• Proven experience developing and managing standardized enablement and consulting delivery products that are scalable, usable, and maintained through a disciplined content lifecycle.
• Strong people leadership skills, including talent development, performance management, workforce planning, and the ability to lead through organizational change.
• Experience with SaaS solutions and higher education technology, ERP, CRM, or student systems; experience with Ellucian Student or related Ellucian solutions is preferred.
• Operational acumen, with experience using data and key performance indicators to manage utilization, capacity, delivery quality, and customer outcomes.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to align global, cross-functional stakeholders and lead effectively without direct authority.
• Strong problem-solving and change management capabilities, with a record of identifying risks early, proposing practical mitigation, and driving work from ideation to realization.
