Job Summary:

The Client Strategy Senior Manager leads day-to-day strategy execution and client communication across a mix of low- and medium-tier accounts, with senior oversight guiding strategic direction. This role may also support higher-tier accounts alongside senior strategy leads, primarily in a project management capacity, as a way to build toward broader strategic ownership. As a member of the Client Strategy team, you will own the day-to-day client relationship and help drive cross-functional execution, with the goal of developing into a strategic, full-funnel account leader.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Strategy Leadership

• Serve as the day-to-day account lead for a mix of 5-6 accounts. May support higher-tier accounts with an assigned strategy lead in an account management capacity to build toward strategic ownership.

• Build and deliver reporting/presentations that align with client needs, including deck creation and storytelling (e.g. new channel opportunities, full-funnel media plans, cross-channel action plans).

• Collaborate with channels to build test-and-learn roadmaps that keep performance and strategy moving forward, and communicate plans to clients to show account growth and evolution.

• Translate insights into actionable next steps across service channels, prioritizing so clients don't feel overwhelmed.

• Stay ahead of emerging e-commerce and marketing trends to keep clients informed of industry and platform updates.

• Lead cross-channel initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and in line with Lunar standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and ensure adherence to client strategic goals.

• Support cross-channel budget management: partner with channel leads to build cross-channel media plans, and confirm budgets monthly to avoid spend issues.

• Develop a broad understanding of search, social, and programmatic, including platform capabilities and when to leverage each channel.

Client Communication & Relationship Management

• Own the day-to-day client relationship with professionalism and composure.

• Build trust through clear communication, strategic alignment, and accountability.

• Lead business reviews that deliver meaningful insights, performance trends, and forward-looking growth strategies.

• Flag issues before clients do, acting as an extension of the client's team to anticipate needs and feedback.

• Effectively project manage key deliverables and account operations, developing a sense for what matters most to clients versus busy work.

• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline account management, including improved workflows and feedback processes.

Client Reporting

• Own performance insights and reporting frameworks that help drive data-informed decisions.

• Develop and confidently present account performance reports that highlight overall performance, industry trends, and growth opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, performance media, or account management, ideally within an agency or e-commerce environment.

• Working knowledge of paid media channels (search, social, and/or programmatic), with a broad understanding of platform capabilities.

• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deliverables at once.

• Comfortable owning day-to-day client communication and building trusted relationships with client-side marketers.

• A developing analytical mindset, with interest in growing into funnel optimization, attribution, and data storytelling.

• Motivated to grow beyond account management into strategic leadership, with a strong desire to learn from senior mentors.

• Proactive, adaptable, and a clear communicator who can translate detail into digestible updates for clients and internal teams.
