Summary
The senior living consultant provides operational support and training to senior living settings within the field locations. This includes regulatory compliance related to housing, training of senior living staff, project management of new senior living startups, assistance with policy, procedure and training materials.
Job Description
Instructs, trains, and provides resources to customers to meet goals and outcomes. Provides ongoing training to all new and existing staff members with responsibilities in senior living settings. Develops training materials.
Assists with development and support of policies and procedures and related training materials for senior living settings. Provides ongoing operational support to senior living settings as it relates to day-to-day questions regarding housing management, regulatory compliance, etc.
Assists with training, coordination and general project management to new senior living project start-ups. Takes initiative in forming collaborative relationship within and outside of the organization in order to promote housing programs consistent with industry standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human services, nursing, business, or sales/marketing or a field related to this position preferred.
Minimum of three years' senior living experience.
General housing/senior living operational practices that lead to strong management of this service area; fair housing, landlord tenant and other housing related regulatory requirements; sound management principles and overall philosophies related to housing with services and assisted living communities; general knowledge related to market rate housing and the impact of marketing – price, place, product and promotion; organizational knowledge related to the incorporation of mission into senior living communities, ability to coordinate with other systems and sub-systems to accomplish work when necessary.
