We’re open to candidates across the U.S. and Canada. However, please note that Hatch is based in California, so we just ask that you're available during PST/PDT hours.

The Opportunity

Our Marketing team is hiring a contract Growth Marketer to lead performance creative for the next 6 months. This is an ideal next step for a channel manager who already knows what makes a paid social ad convert and is ready to move upstream — owning creative strategy and briefs, not just the media behind them.

At Hatch, we believe that creative is the most powerful lever in our growth engine. You'll turn performance data into sharp, testable creative decisions across our acquisition channels (Meta, TikTok, Amazon, YouTube), working closely with channel managers and Creative to shape ads that are both efficient and brand-building. Ad creative is Hatch's most visible customer touchpoint and this role has direct influence over how people experience our brand.

This role reports to VP of Growth Marketing while our Director of Growth Marketing is on leave. Contract role, targeted 9/15/2026 through approximately 3/31/2027. 

Who You Are

• 5+ years of experience in a growth marketing role with a proven track record driving performance in Paid Social (Meta, TikTok) through creative strategy. Ecomm experience required; familiarity with YouTube and CTV a plus.
• Data-oriented decision maker. You default to what the data says over what feels right in the room, and you're comfortable being the voice of evidence when messaging opinions differ. You can hold both business and marketing strategy in mind and are fluent in key metrics like CTR and CPA.
• Extremely detail-oriented and organized, with strong project management skills — you multitask effectively, keep requests moving, and are comfortable in tools like Airtable and Asana.
• A strong cross-functional collaborator, comfortable stepping into an existing system and team rather than building one from scratch, and energized by working through ideas and revisions with art directors and editors.

What You’ll Do

• Creative Strategy & Briefs
• Own creative briefs and deliverables for all ads across objectives (awareness, consideration, conversion)
• Be well-versed in acquisition creative and how to combine brand and direct-response principles, giving timely, strategic feedback through rounds of revisions
• Collaborate closely across Marketing, especially Influencer and Creative, to bring performant ad creative to life aligned with evergreen and seasonal campaign strategies
• Creative Performance & Testing
• Closely monitor and measure creative performance via Motion, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, etc. to identify iterations and opportunities 
• Partner with channel owners on testing initiatives (new ad platforms, A/B creative tests), ensuring tests are equipped with the right assets, and communicating learnings back to the creative team
• Regularly provide deep analysis of creative performance (what messages/hooks/formats are working) to complement the media metrics channel owners report at the campaign level
• Q4 & Q1 Execution
• Strategize and develop highly converting creative to fuel all growth channels over the holidays and into the new year, including Amazon, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and testing channels
• Collaborate with Influencer to ensure paid posts are on message and will meet ad performance needs
• Collaborate with channel managers and Creative on quick iterations for high-performing ads during peak promo periods
• Ensure creative ad volume and supply keep pace with promo needs across all acquisition channels through a successful Q4  

Out of Scope

• This role will not manage the day-to-day ad operations/optimizations or media budget
• Day-to-day asset management and file delivery to channel managers, this is supported by our marketing coordinator.
