Senior Full-Stack Python Developer

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Python Developer to join our engineering team and build scalable products across the backend and frontend. This is a high-ownership role where you’ll work closely with the client, contribute to technical decisions, and deliver features from design through deployment.
Key Responsibilities• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using Python and modern frontend frameworks
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
• Own features end-to-end, from technical design through deployment and monitoring
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver new features
• Write clean, tested, and maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• Contribute to architecture, technical roadmaps, and engineering best practices
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing practices, and developer tooling
Requirements• Based in Brazil or New York, USA
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong Python expertise
• Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript experience with React, Vue, or Angular
• Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and SQL
• Experience with an ORM such as Django ORM or SQLAlchemy
• Proficiency with Git, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud infrastructure
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, testing, and system design
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
