Senior Financial Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst based in United States.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will help drive the financial operating rhythm of a rapidly scaling technology business. You will partner with Finance, Accounting, and business leaders to build forecasts, evaluate performance, and improve financial planning processes. Your analysis will help translate business data into actionable insights that support executive decision-making and investment priorities. You will also contribute to building scalable financial infrastructure, automating manual workflows, and enhancing reporting capabilities. The role offers broad cross-functional exposure across R&D, G&A, and Operations, with opportunities to influence how planning and performance management evolve. Reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A, you will play an important role in developing the next generation of financial planning capabilities.

Accountabilities:

• Own key components of the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasting cycles, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Build and maintain dynamic financial models that improve visibility into business performance and support investment and strategic decisions.
• Analyze monthly financial results, identify key business drivers, and translate findings into actionable insights for leadership.
• Partner closely with Accounting to ensure accurate reporting and alignment between actual results, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
• Improve and automate financial planning workflows using AI tools, modern financial technology, and scalable processes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual reporting through automation, self-service analytics, and more efficient financial processes.
• Help develop and enhance executive reporting, dashboards, and other tools that improve business decision-making.
• Support board materials, leadership presentations, strategic planning initiatives, and other high-priority financial analyses.
• Collaborate with R&D, G&A, Operations, and other business functions to understand operational performance and its financial impact.
• Serve as a trusted finance partner by translating complex business questions into clear financial analysis and practical recommendations.
• Help establish consistent planning disciplines and scalable financial processes as the organization continues to grow.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, or a closely related field.
• Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills, including experience developing dynamic forecasting models.
• Experience working in high-growth SaaS or technology environments is preferred.
• Strong analytical curiosity and the ability to work effectively through ambiguity and evolving business priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to automate analysis, streamline workflows, and improve productivity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial analyses into clear, executive-ready recommendations.
• Strong business judgment and the ability to connect financial performance with broader operational drivers.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to build effective relationships across Finance, Accounting, R&D, G&A, Operations, and other business teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
