Senior Director, Relationship Management

About your role:

As Senior Director, Relationship Management, you will lead a team of Relationship Managers responsible for portfolios of financial institution clients using the DNA core platform from Fiserv. You will partner with leaders across Sales, Product, Operations, Solution Consulting, and Client Delivery to improve client satisfaction, strengthen retention, and identify growth opportunities. Your leadership will help align client priorities with solutions that support long-term portfolio performance.

What you'll do:

• Lead, coach, and develop Relationship Managers responsible for DNA core client portfolios, client satisfaction, retention, revenue growth, and strategic account management.
• Establish portfolio strategies that improve client health, increase satisfaction, strengthen retention, and support revenue growth across assigned DNA core client markets.
• Build executive-level client relationships and serve as a strategic advisor on business priorities, transformation initiatives, service performance, and long-term growth opportunities.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Operations, Solution Consulting, and Client Delivery leaders to align client needs with enterprise solutions, delivery commitments, and business objectives.
• Oversee complex contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial discussions for high-value or strategically significant DNA core client relationships.
• Analyze portfolio performance, client satisfaction trends, client health indicators, and financial metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and action plans.
• Lead workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and talent development initiatives to strengthen team effectiveness and leadership capability.

Experience you'll need to have:

• 12+ years of experience in relationship management, account management, sales, banking, financial services, or financial technology with responsibility for strategic client leadership, revenue growth, and portfolio management.
• 8+ years of experience managing and developing teams, including performance management, succession planning, talent development, and organizational leadership.
• Experience managing executive-level relationships within financial institutions or related industries and influencing senior decision makers.
• Experience leading complex contract negotiations, renewal strategies, and commercial discussions for large or strategically important client relationships.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving sales, product management, operations, implementation, and executive stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze business performance, identify market opportunities, and develop strategic growth plans using portfolio, client health, and financial metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience leading relationship management organizations in the financial services or financial technology industry.
• Experience managing large, complex client portfolios with significant revenue responsibility.
• Knowledge of financial institution operations, digital banking, payments, core processing, and financial technology solutions.
• Experience using Salesforce or other enterprise customer relationship management platforms.

Travel:

This role require frequent travel (50%+).

Salary Range

$114,900.00 - $244,600.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
