Senior Director of Product - Enterprise

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Director of Product - Enterprise based in the United States.

This is a senior product leadership role owning strategy, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes across Finance Technology and the Digital Workplace.
The position spans Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and digital employee experience platforms supporting more than 13,000 associates.
You will translate business priorities into scalable software products that improve cash flow, cost efficiency, spend control, and workplace productivity.
Working closely with engineering leadership, you will drive an AI-First approach to use-case discovery, rapid prototyping, and value creation.
You will lead and develop a team of senior product managers while establishing strong product practices across a complex, matrixed enterprise.
The role requires confident executive communication, disciplined portfolio management, and a strong focus on business outcomes.
This is an ownership-focused position for a product leader experienced in transformation, enterprise technology, and organizational growth.

Accountabilities:

• Define and execute a multi-year product vision and roadmap across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Digital Workplace capabilities.
• Own product strategy for billing, invoicing, credit, collections, cash application, reconciliation, purchasing, invoice automation, approvals, accounts payable, and employee experience platforms.
• Set clear outcomes and success metrics, prioritizing initiatives based on business value, risk, cost, and strategic alignment.
• Make informed build-versus-buy decisions and maintain a disciplined product portfolio.
• Partner with engineering leadership to identify AI and data-driven opportunities, rapidly prototype solutions, validate business value, and scale successful concepts into production.
• Establish a repeatable pipeline from idea and proof-of-concept through production while quickly eliminating low-value initiatives.
• Align product roadmaps, engineering capacity, delivery commitments, dependencies, and priorities to support predictable execution.
• Partner with senior leaders across finance, procurement, HR, and operations to translate business strategies into effective product strategies.
• Communicate product vision, portfolio health, priorities, risks, and outcomes to VP and C-level stakeholders.
• Represent associate and customer needs in product and roadmap decisions.
• Build, coach, and lead a team of senior product managers and product professionals, including hiring, performance management, workforce planning, and career development.
• Develop product leaders through a coaching-oriented management approach.
• Manage product budgets, vendor relationships, and licensing with strong financial accountability.
• Participate as a decision-maker in portfolio, architecture, security, compliance, and technology governance.
• Drive cross-functional resolution of risks and dependencies while maintaining standards that enable speed and scalability.
• Travel approximately 25% as required.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in digital product management or product leadership within complex, matrixed organizations.
• 5+ years of experience leading product managers and other product leaders, including people-management responsibilities.
• Proven experience owning product strategy for finance or enterprise back-office systems such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, ERP-adjacent platforms, and/or digital workplace and employee experience technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize, and deliver AI- or data-driven product use cases in partnership with engineering teams.
• Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear business value for VP and C-suite stakeholders.
• Experience working within structured governance frameworks and matrixed enterprise environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience in distribution, manufacturing, retail, or supply chain environments and familiarity with ERP-adjacent systems is strongly preferred.
• Experience scaling product organizations through significant business growth or transformation.
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Billtrust, Bectran, BlackLine, Medius, Coupa, Microsoft 365, and Workday, as well as modern identity and endpoint management technologies, is preferred.
• M&A and systems-integration experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, coaching, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
