Senior Data and Business Intelligence Manager - Datalytics

The Senior Data and Business Intelligence Manager will provide senior-level leadership across enterprise data warehousing, business intelligence, and reporting initiatives. You will lead the continued evolution of the data warehouse while overseeing the development of sophisticated Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management, stakeholder engagement, and client-facing analytics. You will partner with data science and analytics teams to translate predictive modeling and AI outputs into clear, actionable business insights. Working across technical and business functions, you will help establish data quality, governance, architecture, and reporting standards. This remote leadership opportunity is suited to an experienced data professional who can balance strategic direction, technical execution, client needs, and team development.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the ongoing enhancement and optimization of the enterprise data warehouse environment.
• Provide technical leadership for data warehouse, business intelligence, and reporting initiatives, including evaluating emerging technologies and establishing technical direction and best practices.
• Oversee and actively contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, and visualizations.
• Lead and mentor one or more team members, supporting their technical and professional development.
• Partner with data science and analytics teams to understand predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI outputs and translate those findings into meaningful insights for clients and stakeholders.
• Work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective reporting, dashboard, and data solutions.
• Maintain high standards for data accuracy, quality, consistency, governance, and reporting across analytics platforms.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients and internal leadership, presenting trends, findings, and performance insights in a clear, business-focused manner.
• Collaborate with IT, analytics, operations, and business leadership to support data-driven decision-making.
• Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, balancing priorities, delivery timelines, technical quality, and long-term maintainability.
• Contribute to a pragmatic, scalable data and BI environment that supports evolving analytical and business requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, analytics, enterprise reporting, or a closely related field.
• Strong experience working with and managing an Azure Fabric enterprise data warehouse environment.
• Advanced experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, reporting, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
• Strong experience with Azure SQL Database and Fabric Data Warehouse.
• Practical experience with Azure Entra ID, Azure DevOps, including repositories, pipelines, and CI/CD, and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL, data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouse schema design, including fact and dimension tables.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience working with teams developing predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions.
• Familiarity with data governance principles and reporting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, manage competing priorities, and deliver results across technical and business teams.
• Strong client relationship management, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively in a virtual environment and work productively as part of a remote team.
• Dependable, pragmatic approach with the ability to balance speed, quality, and maintainability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and mentoring capabilities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring immigration support or sponsorship now or in the future.

Benefits:

• Overall annual salary range of $117,500–$222,985, depending on education, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, and other factors.
• For candidates in Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, the salary range is $135,125–$222,985.
• For all other U.S. locations, the salary range is $117,500–$193,900.
