Nüvitek is seeking a Consultant, Senior Power Platform to design and lead complex solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and related technologies. This role will provide technical leadership across architecture, development, code reviews, releases, and production support. The consultant will also help guide technical decisions and mentor less experienced team members.

In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Nuvitek's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement complex solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, connectors, and related technologies.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant Power Platform solutions.
• Develop custom applications and automated workflows that address complex business needs and align with established IT standards and architecture.
• Lead technical design activities, including application architecture, database design, integration approaches, and deployment strategies.
• Produce detailed technical design specifications and documentation, including system architecture descriptions, high-level and detailed designs, database schemas, class diagrams, and physical and deployment diagrams.
• Conduct and lead technical design and code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, security, and adherence to development standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve application architecture, development processes, performance, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex user issues, enhancement requests, and technical defects.
• Implement approved architecture and application improvements and provide technical recommendations during design discussions and reviews.
• Lead technical product release activities, including deployment, installation, training, knowledge transfer, and ongoing production support.
• Collaborate with customers, project teams, developers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business objectives and technical requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced Power Platform team members.

What you will bring

• Obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field.
• 8 years of relevant professional experience in software development, application development, or related technical disciplines.
• Significant hands-on experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Experience designing complex applications and integrating Power Platform solutions with enterprise systems and data sources.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, application architecture, database concepts, APIs, connectors, and integration patterns.
• Experience developing technical architecture and design documentation in accordance with IT standards.
• Experience conducting code reviews, design reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple technical priorities while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.

It would be great if you also had

• Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
• Experience supporting federal government customers or government contracting environments.
• Experience with Power Platform governance, security, and environment management.
• Experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, or other enterprise platforms.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, source control, and automated deployment practices.
• Experience leading technical product releases and implementation activities.
