Senior Client Lead

The Senior Client Lead owns the client relationship and is accountable for creating an exceptional SPARK experience. You’ll understand the client's business, anticipate their needs, bring proactive thinking, lead successful delivery, and identify opportunities to grow the relationship. You’ll also help SPARK win new business and build relationships with future clients.

** This role is strongly preferred in the Tampa area or South Florida region**

The Role

Own the Client Experience

• Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned clients.
• Develop a deep understanding of each client's business, goals, stakeholders, pressures, and opportunities.
• Anticipate needs, proactively solve problems, and create clarity around priorities and decisions.
• Build trusted relationships that extend beyond individual projects.
• Deliver a SPARK experience clients want to recommend to others.

Bring Strategic Thinking + Inspire Possibilities

• Translate client challenges into clear opportunities for SPARK.
• Bring insights, trends, and ideas that help clients see possibilities they may not see on their own.
• Partner with Strategy and Creative to align teams around the real problem we're solving.
• Evaluate work through the client's business objectives and provide strategic input rather than simply relay feedback.
• Establish measures of success and help demonstrate the impact of our work.

Own Client Health + Growth

• Own the health, satisfaction, profitability, retention, and growth of assigned relationships.
• Identify opportunities to expand relationships through proactive thinking and additional assignments.
• Develop growth plans for priority accounts.
• Turn great client experiences into advocacy through referrals, testimonials, case studies, and executive introductions.
• Partner with agency leadership on executive relationships and long-term account strategy.

Lead the Work + Own Delivery

• Give internal teams the client context and clarity they need to do exceptional work.
• Own successful delivery, including scope, timing, budget, resources, and profitability.
• Manage projects directly through Scoro when appropriate, or partner with Project Management on more complex accounts.
• Confidently present recommendations and creative work, helping clients make good decisions rather than simply taking orders.
• Proactively address risks, scope changes, and delivery issues before they impact the client experience or profitability.

Help Grow SPARK

• Support new business from initial conversation through pitch and close.
• Participate in prospect meetings, discovery, chemistry meetings, and presentations.
• Help uncover prospect challenges and develop points of view that demonstrate how SPARK thinks.
• Bring relevant client and category experience into pitches.
• Build relationships and introductions that can create future opportunities for SPARK.

• 5+ years of agency client leadership experience.
• Strong business and strategic instincts.
• Exceptional relationship builder and communicator.
• Confident with senior client stakeholders and presentations.
• Commercially minded and comfortable with scopes, budgets, and growth.
• Proactive, curious, resourceful, and solutions-oriented.
• Able to challenge clients thoughtfully rather than simply take direction.
