PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  ITS serves all DSS program areas to fulfill their IT needs. To meet the business needs and ITS' workload, ITS is seeking qualified candidates in the areas of Database design, architecture, and development, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines, and protection. Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, such as base dictionaries. Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls. Formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management. Proposes and implements enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of various systems that ITS supports across DSS program areas.

Tasks & Duties

• Develop Business and Technical Requirements
• Identify user stories and translate them into technical requirements
• Break down requirements into deliverable components
• Review requirements with stakeholders for approval
• Create system and process design documentation
• Develop and present business process mockups and data feeds
• Produce Source-to-Target mapping and transformation rules documentation
• Design and Development of Software Applications
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models using Erwin; generate DDL scripts
• Perform data profiling and metadata management
• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using IBM InfoSphere DataStage
• Support CARES DataMart updates and inter-agency data exchanges
• Develop reports using IBM Cognos Report Studio
• Participate in upgrades (Cognos, Attunity), proof of concepts, and solution evaluations
• Evaluate tools, coordinate with vendors, and support installation/configuration
• Implement data replication to the Operational Data Store using Qlik (Attunity)
• Provide Environment Support
• Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL objects (packages, procedures, functions, views, tables)
• Create complex queries for data validation and analysis
• Develop programs for data fixes and manual invoice generation
• Maintain data exchange integrations with systems such as HOME Tracker, BCS, CPS, and OPPM
• Coordinate with networking teams and external agencies for data exchange
• Provide 24/7 support for ETL processes and data replication
• Enhance and maintain ETL programs following best practices
• Execute data fixes and manage batch jobs, including user access updates
• Support system migration, maintenance, and production issue resolution
• Management Reporting and Information Dissemination
• Analyze and document current systems and processes
• Recommend improvements based on stakeholder feedback
• Collaborate with business users, developers, and technical teams
• Perform system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Prepare test protocols and reports to meet audit requirements
• Coordinate Application Testing
• Prepare test environments for system integration testing and UAT
• Develop test cases and acceptance criteria
• Coordinate QA testing among QA teams, developers, and stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to IT quality assurance standards

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE 

Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered

• A minimum of 6 years of experience with the following skill sets:
• Curam V7 Certified Developer Experience working in the technical architecture field.
• Cúram V7, Cúram Enterprise Framework Components, Cúram Intelligent Evidence Gathering (IEG2), Cúram Express Rules for Triage (CERT)
• HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, open source Java framework, (Struts/Springs), Ajax (JQuery, Dojo), SOA, and WebServices (Attunity/Qlik)
• Websphere, ESB or Message Broker, Eclipse, JIRA, Webservice, and Oracle
• Real world delivery experience
• SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting.
• MS Visio, Star Schema Modeling, Snow Flake Modeling.
• SQL*LOADER, SQL Developer, TOAD, SQL*PLUS. DBArtisan, Perforce, PVCS, SSMA, RGS, SSMA, SSIS, SSRS
• Informatica 8, Business Objects X, XI, Oracle Reports, BM Cognos Version 10.2.2
• Linux, UNIX, Windows 2003/2000/NT.
