Senior Analyst, Analytics

About the Role:

Our Analytics team helps clients make sense of what’s actually happening on their website: how it’s performing, how people are using it, and where they’re falling off along the way. We build the tracking to capture that story, then translate it into insights clients can act on, because the better they understand their site and their users, the better decisions they can make. 

As a Senior Analyst, you’ll partner directly with clients to build custom GA4 implementations, turn that data into dashboards clients can actually use, and dig into the results to figure out what’s really driving (or hurting) a site’s performance. Expect a mix of the technical (implementing tracking, building dashboards), the analytical (finding the story in the data), and the consultative (helping clients trust and use their own numbers). 

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with clients to build and maintain custom GA4 implementations; tracking the events, dimensions, and conversions that matter to their goals

• Build dashboards and reports (think Data Studio) that turn raw data into something clients can actually use

• Dig into user behavior and site performance data to spot trends, opportunities, and drop-off points, then turn those findings into recommendations clients can act on

• Train clients to navigate and trust their own analytics

• Audit existing tracking setups to catch data quality issues and gaps before they become a problem

• Pitch in on conversion tracking implementation to help keep the data behind our campaign reporting accurate

• Write blog posts and other resources that share what you're learning — with clients and with the rest of Capacity

Qualifications:

This role is a great fit for someone early in their career who loves digging into data and figuring out what it’s actually telling you. We’re most excited about candidates who bring: 

• A knack for quantitative thinking: you’re comfortable digging into data until something makes sense.

• Real interest in web analytics, user experience, and data visualization.

• Strong analytical skills (pivot tables, data visualization, basic statistics)

• Comfort working in a technical environment coupled with an eagerness to learn how websites and digital tracking work

• Familiarity and experience leveraging AI tools to solve technical problems and improve systems and workflows

• The ability to explain a nuanced, technical idea to someone without a technical background.

• A drive to own your projects and juggle multiple clients at once.

• Comfort managing your own deadlines and working independently.

• Curiosity and the initiative to try new approaches as tools and platforms change.

• The ability to work independently from home and collaborate with your team remotely.

Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or Data Studio, web development (or any other analytics platform or programming language) isn’t required, but tell us if you’ve got it.

Compensation:

The starting salary for this position is $58,500, plus potential bonus based on company performance.

We are a fully remote company with no physical office. This job requires a significant amount of time on-camera for internal and external video calls.
