This position plays a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while supporting daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
Provide oversight and financial guidance to purchasing and procurement functions
Assist with financial reporting and preparation of financial statements
Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or trends
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and schedules
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Collaborate with internal departments to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
3–5+ years of accounting experience preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with accounting software or ERP systems preferred
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with inventory accounting or distribution environments
Experience participating in audits or financial statement preparation
