Senior Account Executive

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for proactively creating and closing new business with roofing contractors. You’ll own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and cold outreach through discovery, demo, negotiation, and close.

You’ll act as a consultant to contractors, uncovering the challenges they face when running their businesses and showing them how Roofr can help them work more efficiently, win more jobs, and grow their businesses. You’ll build and manage your own pipeline, develop strong relationships with prospects, and create a world-class buying experience from first touch through close.

What you'll get to do:

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and outbound outreach through discovery, demo, negotiation, and close, while also working qualified inbound leads provided by Roofr to maximize every opportunity
• Build and maintain your own pipeline through consistent outbound prospecting across phone, email, and other channels
• Research target accounts and identify the right prospects, decision-makers, and business opportunities
• Create personalized outreach that speaks to the unique challenges and goals of roofing contractors
• Cold call and engage prospects to generate new conversations and qualified opportunities
• Qualify prospects through thorough discovery, uncovering their pain points, business needs, priorities, and buying motivations
• Conduct tailored demos that connect Roofr’s solutions to each prospect’s specific business challenges
• Educate prospects on Roofr’s products and services and clearly communicate the value and ROI of the platform
• Effectively manage multiple opportunities across different stages of the sales cycle and consistently follow up to move deals forward
• Develop and execute thoughtful closing strategies to convert qualified opportunities into customers
• Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and activity targets
• Work independently, effectively prioritize your time, and maintain a high level of outbound activity
• Maintain accurate CRM records, activity, and pipeline hygiene at all times
• Become a champion for Roofr’s products and stay up to date on our evolving solutions
• Partner with Customer Success, Partnerships, Operations, Engineering, and leadership to share customer insights and help improve the product and customer experience

What you'll bring to the role:

• 3+ years of sales experience, with a strong track record in outbound prospecting and new customer acquisition
• Proven experience owning a full-cycle sales process, from prospecting through close
• Demonstrated success consistently achieving and exceeding quota
• A true hunter mentality — you’re energized by creating opportunities, picking up the phone, and turning cold prospects into customers
• Strong cold-calling and outbound prospecting skills, with the ability to consistently generate pipeline
• Experience selling SaaS technology and conducting consultative product demos
• Strong discovery skills and the ability to uncover both stated and unstated customer needs
• A thoughtful and effective approach to objection handling, negotiation, and closing
• Strong pipeline management skills and a disciplined approach to CRM hygiene
• Exceptional communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Highly self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a high-activity sales environment
• Coachable, curious, and eager to continuously improve your sales craft
• Enthusiasm for a fast-paced, adaptable startup environment
• Experience working with CRMs and sales tools such as Aircall, Outreach, Salesloft, or similar platforms

Bonus Points:

• Experience selling to roofing contractors, construction companies, or other SMB trades
• Experience in SaaS, particularly high-velocity, lower-ARPU subscription sales
• Experience in a high-volume outbound sales environment
• Experience working at an early-stage or high-growth startup
• Existing knowledge of the roofing or construction industry
• Experience selling into SMB or owner-operated businesses

Compensation Band: $80,000 - $90,000 + 45% variable USD

Our compensation ranges are built using multiple market benchmarks and reflect both the scope of the role and current market data. While many hires fall within the beginning to midpoint of the band to allow for growth over time, we tailor offers based on each candidate’s experience, seniority, and demonstrated impact.
