Indera (formerly ARISE/EFR) is a not-for-profit agency and a leader in providing quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Direct support professional (DSP) positions work independently in people's homes and in the community - teaching life skills, participating in recreation activities, providing job coaching, supporting families, and more importantly, truly making a difference in a person's life. Our website has a complete list of open positions, however any applicant is welcome to use this application to apply for a position in our self-direction department. 

Valid NYS driver's license and a reliable vehicle required for most positions.

All new hires must complete a five hour initial training online; the training rate is $17/hour. Once working, the rate of pay will vary based on each person's individual budget.

Qualifications
Must have a valid drivers license 
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
